Morning WorshipMorning Worship The 13th Sunday in Ordinary Time Miss Anne Baird This is the next in our 2021 series of fortnightly Methodist Morning Worship services in the church. Ecumenical Study Group (Zoom)Ecumenical Study Group (Zoom) – The weekly ecumenical study group continues at 7pm, at present on Zoom. The Group is currently looking at the Assembly report on the Confession of Faith and other Confessions and will look at the 1647 document and the biblical texts used. The group find it was interesting reading the verses from the Bible which were looked at for the Westminster Confession of Faith. This group is well established and offers friendship as well a more serious, but also relaxed evening of bible study. If you are interested in joining in please contact Alan Taylor in the first instance. |

Bible Study on HebrewsBible Study on Hebrews This is the third in a series of studies that takes us through the Book of Hebrews. This week our study of Hebrews 4:14–7:28 has the title “Jesus Christ is Greater than the Highest Religious Leaders ”. Our study will be facilitated by Rev Eddie Sykes, who will be providing study notes before the session. Future studies are planned for a number of Thursdays at 10.30am between 15 July and 7 October. Sung EucharistSung Eucharist Pentecost 8 Rev Dr Michael Paterson Our readings are: Jeremiah 23.1-6; Ephesians 2.11-22; Mark 6.30-34, 53-56 This is the latest in our 2021 series of fortnightly COVID-compliant eucharist services in the church.
