For those who have been awaiting information on safeguarding training:
The latest in a series of Regional Safeguarding Clinics, for those with safeguarding responsibility or interest in the areas covered, will be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 16 February. This session includes a focus on neglect and self-harm. As always there will be the chance to ask questions about safeguarding or training. Feel free to email questions in advance to either Euan Morrison or Lorraine Darlow. Bookings end at midnight on 12 February.
A revised on-line version of the Foundation module – Creating Safer Spaces – is being offered to those within the Scotland and Shetland region who are either in new roles or who need to refresh after 4 years. Those who have to complete the Advanced module do not need to refresh this training but should attend if this module hasn’t yet been completed.
- Day course: 10.30am–2.30pm on Saturday 20 February. Bookings are open until midnight on 17 February.
- Evening course: 7.00–9.00pm on Thursdays 8 April and 15 April. Attendance on both evenings is required to complete the course. Bookings are open until midnight on 6 April.
