So far we’ve enjoyed three on-line Bible study discussions led by Eddie Sykes, and are now at the stage where those using tablets need to swipe across to see all the participants, even in Zoom’s gallery view!
Eddie will be continuing every Thursday, but from now on with just a single session at 10:30am. Each Zoom meeting includes a time of sharing at the beginning and finishes at about 11:40am.
The planned topics are:
- 28 May – Acts 2:1–21 (Pentecost) (notes at this link)
- 4 June – Charles Wesley’s hymn on the Trinity Father, in whom we live, and the theology behind it (notes at this link)
- 11 June – Session 1 of a four-week study on Ruth (notes at this link)
Eddie produces notes on the topic ahead of each session, and these are linked to this post as they are published – watch this space! [Notes for previous sessions can be accessed at this link.
You are warmly invited to join us on any Thursday morning. If you’ve participated before, use the same link each week. If you would like to join in, please email Eddie at ku.gro.tsidohtemhtysornull@retsinim for an access code. You’ll also need to install Zoom, but this isn’t difficult – you can find what Zoom is about at this link, and there are some hints here.
11 June note: The meeting access details have changed from earlier weeks, so please contact Eddie if you haven’t received the latest codes!
